Early writing on this technique suggest adding all On and all Off data and then figuring the averages to get the IC as in Table A. But since we can use the measured value of the SD as a check on each set, it seems best to take advantage of that, and consider discarding ones that do not look good and have a bad SD, as in Table B. In this Example 1, however, we learn nothing from this distinction. In the Example 2, however we do, and we get improved results.

The results in Table C are computed lunar distances.
